Here is a presentation of the twelve most valuable coins in the world. Each has sold for more than $2,000,000. From a British 1343 Edward III Florin to a United States 1933 Saint-Gaudens gold Double Eagle, all of these coins are extremely rare, in extraordinary condition and command these unusual prices.
A 1794 U.S. Flowing Hair Dollar (only 140 are believed to exist) commanded an auction price of more than ten million dollars in January of 2013. More recently, a Brasher Doubloon changed hands in a January 2014 auction for nearly five million dollars.
Learn the history and view the twelve coins that have a combined value of nearly $60,000,000.
