This application is a Japanese language learning tool for people who know English.
One can search for an item in the dictionary in kanji, hiragana, katakana, or English by using the search dialog in the action bar. One can also see search suggestions while typing in data in the search dialog in the action bar. The detailed information page describes more information about the selected dictionary entry. The definitions are given in English only. This application also does not offer ro-maji at the moment so you must understand hiragana and katakana to use this application.

Why you should use this app instead of others:
1. Search in Action Bar
2. Search Suggestions
3. Tablet-optimized layout
4. Detailed information page with almost exact wordings from the original dictionary file.
5. No abbreviations except language abbreviations that you have to learn in order to use the application. (iK, oK, etc.)
6. No Internet required besides downloading the application.

This application is labeled as Medium maturity because this dictionary, like others, has some definitions that are x-rated and contain some hate speech.

Mini-privacy notice:

The current implementation of this application stores your queries in the application data so when the user comes back from the application, the user does not have to re-query the data. The user's query data is used for nothing else and not transmitted elsewhere.

I really started this app because I wanted to learn Android development more. I also adore some other Japanese language learning tools and wanted to make something my own. I also wanted to make something new as many other applications of the same genre did not have some newer features.
