The rice cultivation is also one of the major job opportunity in India as well. The Gobindobhog rice cultivation played a major role in the agricultural market. Rice being one of the famous crop of all-time, this new project of Gobindobhog rice made rice lovers come together and celebrate the beauty of the most staple diet ever.
Rice is a monocot plants Oryza sativa (Asian rice) or Oryza glaberrima (African rice), it is the second highest in worldwide production according to a data. Gobindo Bhog rice is a typical West Bengal production, it is not cultivated anywhere other than few districts of West Bengal. The Government of West Bengal lauched this project to make Indians proud and happy about their heritage and one-of-a-kind rice that has the beautiful aromatic quality which fulfils ones appetite whole-heartedly.
The Department of Agriculture, Government of West Bengal has initiated a project in 2012 for cleansing the seeds and spreading out the area of cultivation of the aromatic rice varieties like Gobindobhog, Badshabhog, Radhatilak and Tulaipanji in some selected districts of the state as a maiden project.
