The app dials to bridges requiring both Bridge ID (code) and Bridge Password.
The app reads the meetings from your Android Calendar and displays them in a list.
It is assumed that the bridge ID and password are mentioned in the appointment Location field.
When you click a meeting in the displayed list, the app parses the selected meeting Location field looking for the Bridge ID and Bridge Password.
When parsing the Location field, the following is done:
1) Ignore all non-digit characters.
2) Ignore all numbers shorter than a configurable number of digits (helps ignore unrelated data like room numbers).
3) Ignores a list of user defined numbers. This helps ignoring numbers like the Bridge Gateway Number in case it's mentioned in Location field.
- If two numbers remain, the number on the left is assumed to be the Bridge ID and the one on the right is the Bridge Password.
The app holds several configuration parameters allowing you to tailor the app as per your needs.
V2.0 IMPORTANT update:
An essential feature has been finally added!
Whenever the app is unable to detect the bridge ID and password automatically, a new screen is displayed.
The user uses the screen to assist the app detecting the 2 numbers.
Only 2 clicks are required from the user.
The selected meeting details are displayed on the screen while every number is displayed as clickable link.
The user clicks first on the number representing to the bridge ID and then on the one representing the bridge password.
Then the app will take the 2 numbers and use them for automatic dialing.
