Tina founded Tag Pro Resources after holding finance and leadership roles with several organizations in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. She formed Tag Pro Resources in response to the business community's need for specialized services and a desire for reliable affordable solutions.
Prior to forming Tag Pro Resources, Tina spent many years as a finance professional working in a variety of different industries and with companies of all sizes. She held the Director of Accounting position at ACG Texas, LP, a private equity firm with revenues of $100 million, whose concept included over 50 IHOP restaurant locations in the great state of Texas. In addition she spent time as the Director of Special Projects at Venturity Financial Partners working with firms of $3 million to $50 million in revenue. There she served as the lead consultant for special client projects, software conversions and new client needs assessment and solutions. Her clients included shipping and logistics companies, marketing and advertising organizations, real estate developers, restaurant concepts and consulting firms.
Tina began her career with the Dallas Cowboys Football Club, initially focusing on the retail, wholesale and internet merchandising arena. She later transitioned to Texas Stadium where she helped manage the review and oversight of inventory counts, day to day financial transactions and preparation of financial statements for the retail Pro Shops, a division of the Dallas Cowboys with revenues in excess of $25 million. She later moved to Team Headquarters in Valley Ranch where she held the position of Real Estate and Oil & Gas Accountant for Blue Star Investments, managing the financial transactions for retail outlets, land developments and oil & gas explorations with revenues of over $50 million.
Tina earned Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University (SMU BBA). She later returned to her alma mater to complete Master of Science in Accounting (SMU MSA). She is active in professional organizations including Womens Finance Exchange (WFE), Assn of Certified Fraud Examiners(ACFE) & Alliance of Technology and Women (ATW). She is a board member for Intuits Accounting Pro Research Panel and is a featured panelist for BDO Seidmans Womens Initiative. She is active in SMU Alumni Events & works with the Power of Change Non-Profit.
