The Greek author Aesop (5th century BC) is considered to be the father of literary fables, conceived as moral lessons for everyday life.
Progetto Rosetta has chosen five of Aesop’s fables and rendered them interactive, living them a modern edge that appeals to today’s readers – both big and small.
Read, touch the animals and see what happens, dress Aesop, share the moral of the story with friends via email or on facebook and twitter.
Both adult and child readers will have fun reading and playing with Aesop thanks to simple animations and elegant illustrations.
The graphic style used recalls illustrations of the ‘50’s and ‘60’s while the bright, delicate colours remind our visual memory of the books of our childhood. The characters – created using simple geometric forms (squares, circles and lines), take young readers by the hand, leading them through Aesop’s magical yet educational world.
Happy play-reading and… watch out for the moral in the story!
