Rodolfo Candelas Castañeda´s, Son de mi Corazón, is a book composed of 106 color photographs, taken in Veracruz, Oaxaca and Tabasco, Mexico. All of them are accompanied of ambient audio and the traditional music from that region, the Son Jarocho. Is a sound and image journey through the Son Jarocho and the Fandango. Images that show the organic relation between the visual and sound landscape and its inhabitants their music poetry and dance. Together with texts from Antonio García de León and Álvaro Alcántara, it shows the enormous richness and strength of the Jarocho tradition through photographs of some of it´s more renown characters.
