Nostalgia Ti Frega is a photographic exploration of memory, identity, and place.
The app focuses on the community of a Sicilian village destroyed by an earthquake 40 years ago. It captures an extended, intimate snapshot of the community today and what the 'village', in all its myriad forms, has become.
Weaving together more than 1200 individual photographs, Nostalgia Ti Frega uses custom-designed interfaces to experiment with chance discoveries and non-linear histories. The app invites you to explore, uncover, and play. Your explorations become part of the emergent photographic narrative the application presents.
