Running from August 23rd until August 25th 2011 the 7th Symposium for the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE) incorporating the Western Australian Land Information System (WALIS) Forum and the State Natural Resources Management (NRM) Conference will be held in Perth, Western Australia.

Provided for all delegates and interested parties is the Conference Program, in digital format for your iPad. This conference program provides you with all the information you need relating to the conference, presentation streams, workshops and the conference location.
ISDE is a non-political, non-governmental and not-for-profit international organisation, principally for promotion of academic exchange, science and technology innovation, education, and international collaboration. The purpose of the society is to promote international cooperation on the Digital Earth vision, and enable the Digital Earth technology to play key roles inter alia, in economic and social sustainable development, environmental protection, disaster mitigation, natural resources conservation and improvement of human being's living standard.
WALIS is a dynamic partnership of government agencies working with business, education and the general community to manage and promote the State of Western Australia's (WA) geographic information.  Established by the WA Government in 1981, WALIS is responsible for coordinating across-government access and delivery of the geographic information held by state Government agencies.
The 2011 Western Australian Natural Resources Management Conference provides an excellent opportunity for those working in the natural environment areas to discover information about current activities and practices.  This will bring together those with a view for conservation and sustainability of the State's natural resources in the one forum.
The combination of ISDE7, WALIS Forum and the State NRM Conference will offer an exciting program to delegates.  The three industries of digital earth modellers, the spatial sciences and natural resources management will combine to share their ideas and insights on how we share and interact in our world.
