The exhibition is divided into several areas which the various exhibits are the- matically assigned to. According to materiality, function and size, the exhibits are separated into the areas Solar & BIPV, Constructions & Façades, Innova- tion & Technology and Design & Interior and are presented in a multidisciplinary context.
Alongside multifunctional sensor glass, high quality glass printing and innova- tive solutions in the field of constructive glass production, the latest develop- ments in photovoltaic and solar technologies will be in the focus of the exhibi- tion. In order to enable a holistic overview, a presentation on energy efficient applications and products as well as sustainable production and manufacturing processes will be given.
The special show is accompanied by a top-quality international trade sympo- sium, with lectures from industry and research. “Content” partners of the spe- cial show are the VDMA’s Glass Technology Forum, the Deutsche Glastechnische Gesellschaft (DGG, German Glass Technology Association), the Hüttentechnis- che Vereinigung der Deutschen Glasindustrie (HVG, the Research Association of the German Glass Industry) and the University of Stuttgart, the Institute for Construction and Design, Prof. Stefan Behling and his team.
