AABC - Business Directory APP
In a practical sense, no business can survive on its own. It needs to develop relationships with suppliers and retailers alike. It also needs to develop alliances with a vast array of service providers who would help smooth the provision of its own services and products. Networking is a key element of every successful business transaction.
The Australian Arab Business Council (AABC) endeavours to be your premier platform to facilitate business and social networking among Australian Arab business community as well the wider Australian business community.
Statement of Purpose
The Australian Arab Business Council is essentially a business referral and support network. It provides a casual monthly forum for exchange of information, ideas, support, friendship and business referrals in a climate of honesty and respect.
The Network could also provide employment opportunities, through its members, for Australian Arab youth and provides support to worthwhile community projects.
The AABC is a relatively new but fast growing organisation. It was formally established in 2006. We have to date received much welcomed and most encouraging support from various authorities in the launch and early growth of our organisation and we hope to continue to meet rising challenges and expectations.
Our main activity is a monthly dinner where members can exchange ideas, contacts, referral and expertise. At our monthly dinners, we usually have a guest speaker on issues of relevance to members. Past examples have included such topics as franchising, succession planning, superannuation, tax changes and promotion, export and import, etc. Our list of speakers is prepared months in advance. We are privileged to have the heads of Arabic diplomatic missions in Australian as honorary members.
