My passion for cooking and love of food began at a very early age. Instead of doing homework, I would spend hours at the library skimming through cookbooks looking for the perfect recipe to make. My grandfather not only worked in many restaurants but was also a well known baker in his country. Family gatherings centered around the many dishes we prepared together and food was always the main topic of our conversations.
After many years of working in management, I decided it was finally time to follow my dreams and enter the culinary world. One of my greatest achievements has been attending what is now the Le Cordon Bleu Institute and graduating with high honors.
Now, with 4 years of teaching experience as Lead Instructor at Young Chefs Academy, I am pleased to open the doors to my own teaching kitchen. I hope you always feel welcome to come on in, pull up a stool and make yourself at home.
I dedicate “Cook It Up” to my wonderful family who has always inspired me, to everyone who finds passion in food, and to all the boys and girls who prefer to watch cooking shows instead of cartoons.
