MyTasker is a new approach to reminders and calendar based task lists. Concepts of project management and personal time management come together in MyTasker to help the user understand what is the best use of their time right now. MyTasker is provided for both iPad and iPhone.
MyTasker opens with a daily view that presents categories of tasks that should be worked on now based on current time and date. Categories can be set to show-up on specified week days and/or specific times times. Tasks can be associated with these categories to allow the system to decide what to show at any day, date and time.
Time management concepts are also integrated into MyTasker by allowing the user to specify textbook TM attributes (e.g., Urgent, Important, Business, Fun, … ) to establish priority among tasks.
Project management concepts are further integrated to keep work on schedule. The user can also specify how long task will take and the desired start date to further set the order with which tasks appear. The user can specify a task os to be repeated and MyTasker will reschedule tasks after the start date / duration are expired.
MyTasker supports simulation allowing the user to look at any date on the calendar to see what will be the task situation for that day.
Finally, MyTasker has been designed around the new user interface standards of IOS7 making the app easy to read and use. Navigation bars and horizontal swipe gestures take the user from one screen to improve speed and perception.
