WHAT DOES IT DO?
Security Guards and Safety Teams use an iOS device to record ‘visits’ to checkpoints or inspection points while on patrol, and quickly note when attention is required. This info is immediately shared over the cloud to authorized users who can view all activity from a web console. Customer Service activities can also be recorded while on tour, or when just making the rounds.
If an Internet connection is not available, the app works ‘offline‘ and automatically syncs with the cloud when a connection is made.
Supervisors can manage users, points, tours and customer service activities from the web console by signing in at www.GuardTourApp.com. An HTML5 web browser (Safari, Chrome, or Firefox) is required. The web console gives you the ability to search, filter, and sort your info so that you can generate reports. You can send them off as a PDF file by email, or you can export the data as a CSV file so that it can be used in other programs for deeper analysis, or stored on your computer as a backup to what we manage for you in the cloud.
The Guard Tour app is free, without any in-app purchase options, and without the clutter of advertising. Access from the web console is also free. Support and custom development is available at reasonable rates; contact us with your interests or requirements.
