“Araybi Abugela Zalmat” was born in ZWARA’s city on March 10, 1942. He received his high school education in zawiyah’s secondary school, then joined the Libyan university of BENGHAZI’s city and graduated in 1965.

He spend a period working in the teaching profession, then he joined the U.S oil company. He exploited his spare time in accounting work in addition to his practice of playing soccer (football) as he was a member of dorns’ s team .

Araybi Abugela Zalmat and some of his professional colleagues, claim to standardize the accounting and auditing profession, which was monopolized by foreign offices, and he was one of the individuals who sought to issue a regulating law to the profession with the issuance of Law No. 116 of 1973.

Araybi Abugela Zalmat was elected in the formation of the Second Association of the Libyan accountants and Auditors for several successive cycles in which he took over the secretariat of the Council

He also represented the union of the professional seminars organized by the Federation of Arabs accountants abroad.

Araybi Abugela Zalmat keen to support the union with all the possibilities, especially in every conference of Arabs accountants in Libya.

As he put his office at the disposal of the union to be a temporary escape for two years. “Araybi Abugela Zalmat” was chosen as a president of the commerce chamber in “Alzoarh”‘s city, in which he was responsible on organizing the trade operations between Libya and Tunisia.

Some of the most important qualities in “Araybi Abugela Zalmat” is personality are ; his commitment to support the young graduated students in accounting training, experience and knowledge. Then opening for them a whole new horizon of work by employment and job offers.

He has a broad interests in social public affairs, the same as he supported sports and it’s institutions materially and morally.

Go late, , Godwilling, to the Supreme Comrade on November 28, 2011. Even after his death, his relics still a witness to the continuation of his career. Nowdays, his office still runs the business as his daughter, Narim Araybi Zalmat- a graduate student from Tripoli’s university-, took the lead of the office after she obtained her license for the practice of the profession since 2008.
