Chef d'Table directly translates to Chef's Table and the concept encompasses Chef Lee preparing n ever-changing degustation menu that is inspired by the fresh and seasonal produce available at the markets.
Chef d'Table opened its doors in January 2011, in a beautiful location at wining and dining enclave, CHIJMES. Featuring a la carte menu for lunch and dinner and a set lunch menu but the piece de resistance are the two multi-course Degustation Chef's Menus- 'Chef d'Table Delight and 'Chef d'Table Deluxe.
The beauty of Chef d'Table lies in its simplicity. Think white walls and flooring, leather upholstered chairs and banquet seats on either side of the walls create intimate alcoves for diners. Adorning the walls are abstract art pieces and a variety of framed mirrors which make an eye-catching display.
Ambient lighting comes from designers light bulbs simply hanging from the ceiling over the dining area that seats 45 guests. There is also a theatre kitchen where guests can see the chef and his team busy at work. The Private Dining Room is cordoned off by retractable glass walls and sit two tables of six or a long dining table of up to 12 to 14 guests. The Al fresco area affords guests a beautiful view of the CHIJMES drapel while they wine and dine under the stars. The full bar is located outside as well for those who just want to stop by for their favorite tipples.
