SkuTrak uses smart device technology to improve new car dealership service department net profits. This is done by reducing the daily steps taken by the 20 technicians that typically work at dealerships. SkuTrak tracks the service vehicles and allows smart device communication between service writers, service managers and the part department. Fewer steps means added time each day to work on more vehicles, and with a national repair order average of $250 per vehicle, if each technician can add just one additional vehicle service job, that's $5,000 per day in additional gross sales for the service department.

That means $25,000 per week, $100,000 per month and $120,000 per year in additional revenues, without increasing labor costs. SkuTrak also uses QR code and UPC code reading to connect technicians to service installation videos and PDF files that can be viewed on their mobile device.

SkuTrak also manages parts inventory for dealerships, first doing a physical inventory, and then reducing the in-house parts inventory from the current average of $304,000, to half of that amount or even lower, thus reducing the outlay required for these parts. Real time live inventory control allows local and regional suppliers to be connected for just in time delivery.

SkuTrak is a low cost, high ROI program easily implemented at dealerships nationwide.
