Acoustic sound insulation is an area of focus for the gypsum activity of Saint-Gobain. Plasterboard systems excel in acoustic performance over all competing materials when parameters as thickness, weight and total installed cost are taken into account.
Without question we do know this but the problem is that our clients aren’t always aware of this key sales argument for plasterboard systems.
The dBStation is a sales tool developed within the Gypsum Central Marketing Team in order to demonstrate the acoustic performance of our plasterboards to our customers. It can help our marketing/sales people to:
• Demonstrate the performance in an audible way of our systems compared to brick and block systems.
• Raise awareness on acoustic comfort to move beyond standards
• Upsell from standard boards to performance boards
• Explain the difference in performance of systems without talking about differences in dBs which most of our customers didn’t understand.
