FTIN Mobile links your android device to your FTIN Strategies account. You will need to register your device to your account using the ID number provided when you open the application for the first time.
Campaign staff and grassroots volunteers use their own Smartphone's (or FTIN provided devices) to travel to homes and speak with voters. Users are provided an optimized walk route that ensures they are going door to door in the most efficient manner possible and if lost they can use our integrated turn-by-turn directions and fully interactive route maps to find their way. Users see the voters that have been assigned to them with information such as the voters’ age, party, and propensity to vote. Once a user is speaking with an individual or family, all interview/polling information is quickly stored in the Smartphone, which is stored simultaneously on our Internet servers. This information can be dissected immediately and reacted on while it is fresh.
During Election Day, campaign workers at the polls will use their Smartphone's (or FTIN provided devices) to mark off individuals as they come to vote. This information is updated in real-time to our Internet servers.
Using this information, the volunteers on the streets will now be able to bypass houses where the voters have already voted and move on to other targeted households that have not. These voters are also automatically removed from call lists as well.
The campaign is able to be proactive instead of reactive on Election Day. Resources can be adjusted on the fly according to the real time data coming in rather than trying to react to information from the streets that is hours old.
